Completing Hajj: Day 4 and Day 5 - Rami and Final Rituals
As you near the end of your sacred journey, the last two days of *Hajj* involve completing the *Rami* (stoning the Jamarat) and finalizing your *Tawaaf-e-Ziyarat*. Here's everything you need to know to complete your Hajj smoothly.
Being Inside Mina Before Fajr

To perform *Rami* correctly on Day 4 (11th Dhul Hijjah), you must be **within the boundary of Mina before Fajr**. This is an important requirement that validates your stay (*wuquf*) at Mina.
The best way is to perform Tawaaf-e-Ziyarat by Maghrib, offer Isha at Haram, if your hotel is near haram then take rest till 11pm or 12pm and then take taxi/bus to reach Mina boundary.
Best Time to Perform Rami

The best time for *Rami* is **after Zawal (midday)**. However, it can be done until **Maghrib** and even after in case of extreme necessity. Ideally, avoid peak heat hours and go after Asr if possible for comfort and safety. It is recommended after Zuhr because it gets too much crowded after Asr.
Two Days or Three Days of Rami?

Mostly people come back to their Mina tent and stay there for 2 days. Every thing is available like food, washrooms etc and services.
After completing the *Rami* on **11th and 12th Dhul Hijjah**, you have a choice:
- If you leave Mina **before Maghrib on 12th**, you do not need to stay for the 13th.
- If you stay after Maghrib on 12th, you **must perform Rami again on the 13th**.
Both options are correct, but many prefer completing *Rami* over three days for additional reward (*sawab*).
Rami and Tawaaf-e-Ziyarat Scheduling

If you have not performed *Tawaaf-e-Ziyarat* yet, you can complete it after Rami on **11th or 12th Dhul Hijjah**. It is essential to perform it before sunset on the 12th (or latest by 13th if staying).
Your schedule might look like this:
- Perform Rami of all three Jamarat (Sughra, Wusta, Kubra).
- Head towards *Masjid Al-Haram* for *Tawaaf-e-Ziyarat* and *Sa’i*.
- Return to Mina to complete your stay if required.
Important Reminders for These Days

- Carry sufficient *pebbles* each day (around 49 to 70).
- Stay hydrated and use sun protection during long walks to Jamarat.
- Make sure to take enough ORS/carbonated drinks to keep electrolytes level high
- Follow crowd control signs strictly for safety during *Rami*.
- Complete all rites peacefully and be patient with others.
- After Rami, people perform a final Tawaaf al-wida.
Tawaaf al-wida
It is obligatory (wajib) for all pilgrims after completing Hajj, before leaving Makkah.
- It is a way of bidding farewell to the House of Allah with love and respect.
- You do not perform Sa'i after Tawaaf al-Wida'.
- If you miss it without a valid reason, it requires a compensation (dam) — a sacrifice of a sheep.
Finishing these steps marks the completion of your *Hajj journey* — may Allah accept it with full reward, *Ameen*!
